How many browsers are listed on your 8700c? I have only:
Internet Browser
Cingular Browser

I hear some people have three. The third being Blackberry Browser.

Three, but you won't get the Blackberry Browser unless you're on a BES.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between the browsers anyhow? I have 2 (Internet & Rogers), but the only differences I've notices is the loading bar in the Internet browser displays the file size of the the loading data.

I've been curious what the difference was; anybody willing to fill me in?

I'm not sure about Rogers but with Cingular, as I understand it, the carrier Browser is optimised for WAP sites and has problem rendering a lot of the more complex sites, where the Internet Browser is optimized for HTML, script and style sheet driven sites.

Hope this helps.

That makes sense. I just tested it out and noticed that difference. Thanks!

When I tried Opera Mini, it said it detected I had a 7780.
Did that happen with you? And if so, what should I do next?
