I'm new to BB forums and have been searching around without luck. I've paired my 8830 with my Powerbook G4. I've been able to send my phonebook from BB to the G4 but I haven't been able to send files such as picture jpg files from G4 to BB. Can anybody help? It says, "The device does not have the necessary services" I'm simply trying to use for file transferring not as a modem. Please help...

On the BB, go to Media. Hit the menu key and select "Explore." Then browse to where you want the file. Then hit menu and select "receive using bluetooth." Then send from the computer. See if that works for you.
