I just got an email from BB stating there is an update ready for my phone. Has anyone else gotten this notification? Right now I am unable to look at the update info because I am not at my husband's PC and my Mac still isn't compatible with BB stuff online.

Is this the update for the Tour we have all been waiting for?? Anyone downloaded it, does it cause more problems or solve the ones we've been having?

Just checked the normal channel on VZW, and it's still using the 7/13 software. What carrier are you on?

I'm on VZW and I updated my software when I got the phone. What's the normal channel you are talking about?

it's the new OS update. version 4.7.1.53. it seems to be a little quick and trackball smoother on the software side of things. the OS is now official

The SmithMicro site that VZW uses is where I usually check, but Desktop Manager is finding it before they have it and upgrading itself.

Did you also get a notification to upgrade? Wirelessly?

I am simply interested because I will notify my other Tour users to do the update. I already did from the leak.

So did anyone install the new .53 upgrade and if so, is this fixing the issue of 'hard to hear' bluetooth issue??
