Default my BB sucked in olive oil

Please Login to Remove!

Last night I happened to keep my BB in some oil that had spilled on the table without noticing it. It was a very thin layer of oil. But overnight by some capillary action my BB seemed to drawn the oil in and now my display has 2 spots of oil. The display is less brighter. The phone is working fine except for the speakers. I can use it perfectly well with headphones. Earlier there was some oil discharge into the battery area which i kept wiping. But now there in none. what do i do? my friends advise I should switch it off for 2 days.

If it were water, maybe removing the battery for a couple days would work, but with oil you're in a real hurt because oil doesn't evaporate.
