Default Ringtone shortplay

Please Login to Remove!

I'm having issues with my ringtones. I have a few song clips downloaded onto my BB each between 15-30 seconds long. Each play the full length until I actually set it as a ringtone then when someone calls it will only play the first 3 seconds of the song. I've tried changing it multiple different ways but nothing is working I was wondering if anyone here had experienced this or knew anything I could do to fix it. Thank you.

Take out your battery, leave it out for 30 second. Put it back in.

It will take 2-3 minutes to reboot. It should fix it.

Yes your ringtone is set to ring a certain number of seconds. You will notice that on your pre-loaded ringtones that you have the option 1,2,3 rings before going to voice mail, nad you cannot make it ring more than 3 times. You need to call your provider and they can increase the number of seconds that your phone will ring before going to voice mail. I think is what you are asking, I have never had a mp3 as a ringtone so I really could not say that the same scenario is true for mp3's as ringtones.

The brilliant epople can probably answer better than me
