Default uh, I dont like the calendar....

Please Login to Remove!

It makes double entries from my outlook.
Ive deleted the relationship, and re-sync'd. Set my primary to my default email addy for the device thru CICAL. Other than removing the service books, im all out of ideas.

Ive even tried to downgrade the calendar by dragging a copy from 4.2.2.
Anyone else got an idea?

Im using a version of 4.5. And the different calendar entries are listed as having different email addresses attached.

Try this...Delete your email on the BIS site. Hook up your BB to the DM open the “Back up and Restore” then go to advanced, then go to the box on the right hand side “device database” Clear the calendar entries. Disconnect the BB from the DM remove the battery with the BB powered on; leave it off for a minute or two. Put the battery back in, re-enter the email account(s) into the above BIS website, if your have more then one email account go into options and choose which one you want to be your default. Re-sync your BB.

Didnt work. Now I have three entries on some of the calendar entries. One is listed as a default now, along with the BB's email, and my personal email...
Ergh. Time to downgrade...

Were all the entries made on the default calendar or different ones. What is 4.5 the DM or the O.S.

Oh and you have to make sure you don't have multiple events in Outlook...

Checked all of that. The OS for the device was 4.5, and the DM is 4.3. Im downgrading right now. To try something. Im thinking that downgrading, and re-installing the new OS with the .cod's from the older OS for the calendar, might do it.. Im hoping I have enough smokes, and tea in the fridge to make it through the night.

Wirelessly posted

Not a 4.5 issue. This can happen with 4.1, 4.2. Has to do with how you sync in DM. You are basically allowing duplicate entries. Downgrading is a severe waste of time unless you are having more serious issues. Sorry I can't specifically remember why it occurs and exactly how to fix it, but I was rockin' that same problem back in the days of the 8700c.

This has happened to me as well. Zero's solution is spot on. Make certain NO email addresses are associated with your BB BIS account, except the one you want your calendar entries associated with and then sync back from Outlook as long as you have only single entries there.
