Default 8700 turns off itself..

hi,
my 8700r was working well uptill now but now sometimes u r making a call it shuts off... it turns on by using a charger or taking off battery and putting back... but samething happens when u press some key or just browse through applications.... Battery remains fully charged....

any help will be appreciated.

Hmm. Normally its the media card which your phone does not have. You may have a memory leak. Make sure you are using most current OS which is on top of page. Ideally, you want to make sure your apps are closed when on phone.

Another possibility is that there is a circuit connection issue with the battery. If so, that is a hardware problem. Dump the phone

Check best way you can that the battery is tight in the device and not loose. Also, look at the pins on the blackberry and the contacts on the battery. Make sure they are clean and not corroded.

You might also try another battery. Even though your battery is showing that it is charged, it may be going bad and can't deliver sufficient current under demand.
