Can you disable the voicemail password so no password is required?

If so, how?

Just add a pause and your password to the Voice Mail speed dial.

Did that, but it doesnt work all the time. I had a seperate post about that. I'm trying to eliminate a password from being necessary all together!

Seriously? You want just anyone to be able to listen to your voice mail?

It would not be just "anyone", just the holder of the phone. I hate the password feature and am glad Cingular gives you a way around it while using your device

Hmmm didn't think of that. I thought it would only be who is holding the phone. Would people be able to call and listen to my messages somehow?

And does anyone on Verizon even know if this can be done?!?!?!??!

You can check your voice mail from any phone. And as far as eliminating the voice mail password, it doesn't seem to be possible from the voice mail menu; it's got to be from 4 to 7 digits in length, and an empty password isn't allowed.

This may be different in other Verizon regions. I'm in northern New England.
