Is it possible to tranfer the entire address book from one Blackberry device to another? ie. 8700 to 8800 (via bluetooth preferred).
Thanks.

Yes, you can use the 4.2 DM to switch devices or backup your old device using the 4.1 DM and import your address book to the new BB device using backup and restore.

Point to your restore after you start your new device and then stop the restore. This just allows you to point to your backup. Then use the "Advanced" button and you will see your backup on the left side of the Advanced screen and your BB will be on the right.
Menu your address book on the left and use the migration arrow from left to right and you can move your address book to your new device.

Good luck...

Default Transfer BB address to sim

Hi...

You will probably need a third party app and sim card reader to do this. Right now, I know of only one solution for this. Dekart sells a sim reader and you can migrate Outlook address books to sims after manipulating the data.

If anyone else has a solution for this, let us know as I am forced into this situation a number of times without any assistance from our AT&T vendor folks. They can transfer from cell to BB Handheld but not the other way around.

Regards;

H.
