Default Migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010SP2

Please Login to Remove!

So I just came to look on the Blackberry website to see what I’d need to do in order to get our BES Express 5.0.2 MR1 box (located on WIN2003R2SP2 different server that the exchange server 2003 ) configured to work with new server Exchange2010SP2 (under WIN2008R2SP1.
(we’re currently on exchange2003 on Win2003R2SP2 ).

Would it work just to have BES EXPRESS 5.0.2MR1 without any update to connect to a new Exchange 2010SP2 or not?

thanks,
Jose

best to apply SP4 and follow this
KB22601-How to migrate from Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or 2007 to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 in a BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 environment

1st STAGE:

Move from EXCHANGE 2003 TO EXCHANGE 2010SP2 and trying to support existing BES EXPRESS with 9810 devices.

2nd STAGE:
if at the end of AUGUST we will be replacing all the BB9810 for BB-Z10 devices for alll the users and no one should continue with 9810s. I understand I have to drop BES express 5.0.2MR1 and get BES10 just to give support to new BB-Z10 devices.

at that time all users should be already on Exchange 2010.

That is why I would like to know if BES express 5.0.2MR1 would be enough to connect to EXCH2010SP2 for those 45 days.

thanks

knotty,
what do you mean by your answer?
Blackberry Torch 9810 are actually working with BES express 5.0.2 MR1 and exchange 2003.

what part is not supported.

we want to know if BES express 5.0.2 MR1 will work with exchange 2010SP2, without making any change to BES server. Just to work with it for 45 days

In septembre when we replace to new devices we will drop BES express and install new server with new BES.
