Jeff's right, even the link in the .37 thread takes you to the .55 download at vodaphone.

Has anyone with an AT&T 8110 tried this recently? Thinking about doing it but don't want to be without a phone or cripple things just to get HTML e-mail....any other significant imporvments or upgrades off of AT&T's latest?

I've been using it on mine since it was released and the only issue I have is that standby via the mute button stops working once in a while.

I just took back an 8310 with push mail problems (no mail showed up) after I upgraded to 4.50.55. I'm a little scared to upgrade the 8110 which I just bought but I really want html email. No, I'm not going to buy Empower to get it.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum so please forgive the naievity of the question.

I have an 8110 from O2 running OS 4.3.0.93 and basically wanted to know if "upgrading" to 4.5.0.55 is actually worth it. Before anyone says read the above posts, I have, and that's why I'm asking the question! I get the impression it's a bit 50:50.

Whilst I realise there can't be a definitive answer as such my question is simple.

Is .55 worth it compared to what I have?

Thanks

We would have no idea whether or not it's "worth it" to you. Obviously, it's worth it to us. You have to decide if you want the added features like HTML email and Documents To Go and the new fonts, media player and browser.

My apologies for posting a stupid question. Obviously I do want those bits and pieces which is why I'm considering it! It's more the stability of the OS that I'm worried about and any bugs which negate its benefits. I realise I didn't make that very clear (if at all...) in the previous post!

I'll give it a whirl and let you know how I get on.

Thanks

You can always go back. It's not a big deal.

Hmm. Right then. I've got it all on and not managed to brick my pearl, but I can't work out how to get html in email. I've looked in the email options in messages and there are only the following options:

1 Confirm Delivery
2 Confirm Read
3 Send Read Receipts

I've checked the OS version and I've definately insalled 4.5.0.55

Can anyone offer a suggestion or thread to read? I'm usually pretty good with stuff like this but this BB has left me struggling!

Thanks.
