Default Anyone sugar cube the curve yet?

Please Login to Remove!

Would really like to get rid of the at&t logo. Anyone tested the sugar cube technique yet? Any other techniques? Please post.

I believe that archer6 had a better-than-sugarcube method of logo removal on this thread...

its not recomended at all to remove the logo on the curve....it can scratsh the surface....its printed in a diffrent way than the 8800.....i've learned it the hard way :(.....very hard way!

Yes. Instead of printing the carrier logo after everything else, this time the carrier logo is printed, and then after a clear gloss finish is added. Sneaky sneaky.

Although I know that we device-addicts have a sort of OCD...at least the new AT&T logo isn't big and visually distracting like I always thought the Cingular logo was with their orange "splatman". This logo is much more discreet and classy...not worth taking the chance of ruining my phone trying to remove it...at least in my opinion.

Again.....i came to that conclusion the hard way......now instead of an AT&T logo i have a black round shaped.....something......

So the 8300 is like the 8700c? If the silver paint is removed it is a nice flat black underneath? (like a thinkpad)

Might be interesting to sand one down like a few people did with the 8700c, I may try it after cnn.cn gets replacement housings in.
