Thanks, John. I read the review and found it very informative. That is where I got my education on the topic. I was thinking of an iBlue 820, which is $59.85 (because I don't see the 717 listed), or a Q-Starz BT-Q818, which is $64.85, both at Semsons.

I was just wondering if I could get a sampling of what people are using and liking before I made a final decision.

Never used any of those. I've used the Freedom's (my recommendation) and I've used the BT-359 from GlobalSat.

I bought one, it works. You can look on the net and get one for less than $ 70 US.

How big is it? It's hard to beat the super small size of the keychaingps from Freedom.

Eh, I bought a Freedom Keychain 2000 GPS off the net for $ 68 plus shipping.

I think it is the same size as yours.

Oh, I thought you meant the qstarz or iBlue that he was referring to.

JC you recommended it, I just waited till the price came down so that I could afford it. I am impressed how well it works but notice that it can take up to three or four minutes for everything to start working.

I haven't tried the referenced ones, but have the Holux 240, with pretty good luck. It is about the size of a pack of gum (the old kind).
