Hello,

i just got a new blackberry(9000), it is a corporate blackberry with internet thrown in. i previously had a pearl and after activating the 9000, i tried to use my sim on the old pearl, the data connection is refused, and i cant use the browser either.

is the sim only registered to a single blackberry and can not be used on a second blackberry?

i tried to use a second sim on my old blackberry but still get the same issue, data connection refused, was this blackberry only workable with a single sim and since the sim has been moved to the new blackberry, hence this blackberry can not be used at all now?

i actually work for the carrier and it is a new device with the same carrier.

data connection refused means there is no BB data plan associated with the SIM.

yes, i have a data plan with the new SIM(it is actually the old SIM), my carrier only sent a new phone and the SIM works fine with the new phone(Bold)
