I keep getting network messages from RIM. Is there anyway to stop them or filter them out. They are very annoying as i get several per day!

Sounds like you mistakenly installed Desktop Manager using the Desktop Redirector option.
Those emails from RIM look like redirector messages to me.

. Uninstall Desktop Manager completely.
. Delete the [Desktop] service books from your device.
. Re-install Desktop Manager using the BIS option (BlackBerry Internet Service)
