I upgraded the OS and it seemed to not restore all the previous font settings. Anyone experience this or have a workaround/fix other than resetting?

You can try manually restoring a backup. By defaut the desktop manager will create a backup before the OS update. I would manually restore it, if you don't know where the file search do a search for the following: *.ipd

I'll give that a shot. Do you know if the actual fonts or other personal settings may have changed? I realize it's a new release, so I may be grabbing at straws.

I haven't upgraded to 4.5 yet, but I'm not suurprised your personalizations have been changed. You'll have to reset to the way you want it.

Unfortunately I'm not suprised either, and personally, I don't care about how mine look...

I am asking because I know the 1000 of these units I have to upgrade, there will be a lot of people upset that it doesnt keep their settings.

Ahhh... A different situation than I had assumed.

I just know that I've had profiles and fonts set to the defaults when I've done upgrades in past. Don't know any way to avoid.

Maybe those here who support other users will have an idea.

I think when I did my upgrade to 4.5 my font changed, but my profiles did not. I'll probably be upgrading some more BlackBerries to 4.5 beginning next year, I will try to post back if I notice fonts/personal settings changing.
