Default Best USB retractable charger?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm looking to buy one good retractable USB charger so I don't have to carry around this big clunky cord that came with the 8830. What do people recommend?

Thanks

Any USB charger will do. I use my iPOD charger for everything.

I use a usb charger and usb cable, not RIM OEM. Not all retractable cables will charge. I have two and tried charging my bb with one and it didn't work. I tried a second on a 1.8" external drive (the ones that work without needing an external power source) and that doesn't work, not enough power I guess. Both devices work correctly with standard usb cables. The retractable cables are a couple+ years old and I was just looking to buy and try a new one to see if these are any better.

Thanks, I looked at the Boxwave, but had some problems with their cord for the Treo, so I think I'll wait till Seidio gets their stock replenished. According to their website, they're on backorder.

Did you report your issues to customer service? We were having some difficulties with a few of our Treo minisyncs. But for what its worth, our BlackBerry 8800 miniSyncs work great!

I have several including a Belkin. It's probably the better made of any of mine. I don't have a problem using any of mine for charging.

I just purchased a Belkin kit from Staples with several retractable USB, phone and network cables. As jnyost said, no problems with the Belkin. The kit is really nice by the way.
