Hi,

I am getting word that there is a TCP/IP stack on a Verizon BlackBerry 7250 but not on a Bell Mobility BlackBerry 7250. (i.e. disabled by Bell Mobility)

Does third party applications (VeriChat, Reqwireless, etc) work on your 7250?

To test, you can install VeriChat MSN / AIM / ICQ by typing this web address into the BlackBerry Internet Browser (not WAP browser)

This will wirelessly download and install Verichat software onto your BlackBerry, which you can use to log into instant messaging on your 7250.

Just got my 7250 today with Bell. I downloaded verichat and I can't login, connection keeps timing out.

Someone else privated me too and said he couldn't succeed either:

Just tried VeriChat on the 7250. when i try to connect to MSN I get "Could not find a service book entry for IPPP" error.

Perhaps try out the "Register Now" and the "Send Internet Browser Service Book" tips from the "BlackBerry HTML Internet Browser FAQ"?

I finally got my Verizon 7250 to work with Verichat version 1.93b

I am on a BES if that makes any differance. :D
