JS, The same thing happened to me with this theme. I recently deleted the BB Dimension Today theme (stock theme). Could that have cause my calendar entries not showing up on this this theme? I have no idea which email is connected to my calendar but tried all 3 and none work... What gives?

Okay, now after rebooting, I am getting an error that reads, "Uncaught exception: Artclinterface::DocPostToCaret: error 3; formatted text length = 29"

Does anyone know what this is?

As in ALT+Right Caps+DEL? Mine works.

I used to get a bunch of java errors and found out it was a third party app that I had to reinstall. It had gotten corrupted over time in the OS upgrades.

The SoftReset app hasn't worked on 4.5, not on mine at least.

The ALT+Right Caps+DEL key press does.

Did you ask about that?

Assuming you have more than one email address configured to your BB:
Options > Advanced > Default Services > select the email address to which your calendar events are set.

Spade, you're going to have to follow the directions in the links exactly as posted. If you are not familiar with DOS commands, it can be tricky.

Quote:
2. Change the directory to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
  • If you do not know how to navigate to this directory follow instructions in 2a)
2a)

From C:\ prompt type:

cd Program Files <hit enter>
cd Common Files <hit enter>
cd Research In Motion <hit enter>
Do you have a DOS prompt on your screen? That is where you will type those commands.
To get a DOS prompt, on your PC, click Start > Run and at Open, you will type cmd in the
cd AppLoader <hit enter>

I enter my calendar entries directly to my BB, how would I know which email is used for the calendar? The entries are still on my calendar after my upgrade but not showing up on the home screen in the Today theme and today plus theme...

Are you running Windows XP or Vista? You should have a directory named "Program Files" located in the root of your C: drive.

Look at your Calendar > Options > and look at your various calendars. Clicking each will tell you which calendar has the entries you need.

You are not at the c: prompt, per the instructions. You are at c:\Documents and Settings\user

In that box, as you see it there, type

cd c:\

then you should be at the root c: prompt.
Then type:

cd program files

and proceed with the instructions.

I deleted the Cal entries for service books and now they are showing after the reboot... However, now under the default services the only option I have is "Messaging (CMIME).
