Hi all

I bought a refurbished Pearl and I noticed that sometimes the screen is really bright and sometimes the screen is not really that bright. Now I am not talking about the 30sec delay after which the screen just turns off to save battery. I'm talking about the screen going from really bright to not so bright. When it was in the not so bright state I went to increase the brightness and it said brighness = 100%. So I just want to know if this is normal, if not I'm returning this thing. If it is normal, what is trigerring the dimming of the screen.

It's probably the auto dim feature. I know that you can turn off the auto dim with the latest OS.

yea after reading up more about this on this forum, i am joining the many who think this feature is stupid. But i guess i'm relieved to find out that my device is acting normally.
