Oh please someone tell us about the volume update. I did it for my 8700c and it made a world of difference. I'd love to get the volume increase for the 8703e.

Default 8703 volume increase

Has anyone heard anything about how we can increase the volume on the 8703????? I agree with rpvitale, the volume increase we were able to get on the 8700 is really needed on the 8703....

I got this working just great but does anyone know if you can remove the application names from the home screen on the zen theme? I had the 7130e with the sasktel OS and there was an option under "home screen" to hide these. If you know the answer please Pin me 32b08b64

The Zen theme on the 8703e does not have the option to remove the names.

I currently use the Zen theme which I like very much, except I don't like the fact that the SMS and Email folders are separate. Is there any way to make them one folder???? I hate having to check both boxes when I get a msg.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I agree, it would also be nice to use that extra spot on the main screen for another button, instead of having both Messages and SMS.

Anybody?

I may be a total retard but I can't get this to work.

My current OS on the BB is 4.1.0.344
Desktop: 4.2.0.10
Using BES
8703e (verizon)

I downloaded the .alx (version 4.1.0.452) and deleted the vedor xml.

What do I do from there?

I've been reading other threads and they say to go to a folder:
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8703e-v4.1.0.344_P2.2.0.149"

This folder is not on my PC. After the folder:
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion"
My folder options are:

-AppLoadder
-Modem Drivers
-RIMDeviceManager
-USB Drivers

Can someone please advise? I'd love to try out this Zen theme that's all the buzz.

vendor.xml is in apploader file if my memory serves me correctly.

Install the OS. That is a fairly key part. If you don't have the folder under Loader Files, then you didn't install the OS to your PC.
