Hi, I'm a new BB user (8100/Cingular). I got all the email/calender/ and contacts to sync with no problem, but I need to limit my contacts.
I don't want all my contacts from Outlook (966) to load onto my BB. I only need 200-300 of them, the rest I use every couple years. Is there any way to limit what contacts are loaded onto the BB??
Only way is to create a new Contacts file in your Outlook Folder list. Either copy only the contacts you want into the new one, or put the 600 you don't want into the new one (my preference). Then, go into your Desktop Manager and configure your PIM, mapping the folder to the proper thing. (If you choose option B, moving the old contacts into the new Contact file, you won't have to do this).
I redid my contacts file with only the contacts i wanted, but now I need to delete all the contacts off my sim card, is there anyway to do that other than one at a time (I've been searching for a way to delete my SIM card numbers) Thanks for the help its been great.

Are you sure your contacts are on your SIM? If you've synced your Berry, they should only be on the handheld. And, it should pull off the ones you moved/deleted.
However, if they're truly on your SIM, you're probably going to have to delete them manually. I'm not sure how to delete them all at once...
