Unhappy BOLD works slow, freezes

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I urgently need my phone to start back working as smoothly as a few days ago.

It all started when i downloaded a nice wallpaper i've found on the theme menu. From then up to now, my phone is working very slow, it freezes, causing me to miss calls i won't be able to pick up because although it rings it freezes at the same time.

When it freezes or works slow, there's a small clock symbol appearing in the middle of the screen. it could take minutes before i can use my phone after i put in the password.

I looked to see how to delete the theme, but when i found out through the Help menu, and i tried it, i wasn't given the option by any of the two themes i have in my phone. I only have the option to download them!

Can anyone help??

you can also clear the log but holding alt and then type lglg a menu will come up and then clear the log, also delete anything you dont need, then do a batt pull like the others said

Besides having a ton of apps on my bold, I experience this often too and I periodically do a alt+cap+del or a batt pull to recover. I alsop bought al memory optimizers, which have NOT helped!

thanks guys i just read your answers.

I tried both battery pull and log clearance. so far so good, let's hope it goes well from now on!

or try updating your handleld software version if there are any updates available from your carrier.

My bb was doing the same thing. I just traded in my old for a new bb with no questions asked. I just said it was software problems, and within a week, I received a new bb. I couldn't handle my phone freezing all the time. It was driving me crazy. Plus, I wasn't downloading any apps to my phone either. If its still under warranty, go to your provider and see what they say
