I installed the new Blackberry Desktop Manager 6, now I can't use my Curve 8900 as a modem. In the previous v5.0, there was an XML configuration file that I just needed to change a setting under the AT&T section, and then it would work.
Tried this with the new version, but it seems it doesn't use the xml file "ip_modem_configuration.xml". Has anyone been able to fix this issue?
6 installs seperate fom your old version. You can still use the old dm.
This is not true of an upgrade. I was prompted for the newer version and installed it. Old version no longer exists on the PC.
