Hello,

When trying to load Blackberry Appworld all of a sudden I get the following message:

'APN is not specified'

Does anyone have an idea what this is about? This isn't the first software problem I've had with the 9700 btw. I am the only one?

I don't know why appworld needs apn, but maybe I just don't know. Regardless, do you have you apn configured in options on the device? You'll need to figure out what it is for your carrier (google...there are many sources of the info). Go to TCP in advanced options and enter the info. Then try again.

And, make sure your carrier doesn't charge separately for carrier data, or at least know what the charge is so you don't get a surprise.

I am currently using a Bold 9000 running 5.0.0.314 All of a sudden when I open the app world the system tells me "APN is not specified" and the system exits. Any suggestions

APN for rogers is just

APN: internet.com
Username: wapuser1
Password: wap

This isnt new, this has always needed to be active for certain applications, it has nothing to do with the 9700 specifically.
