Hello . Has anyone purchased the Invisible Shield by Zagg for their Strom? if so is it good? Trying to figure out whether to buy it or not.

Nope, don't have the Strom.

But Invisible Shield is a reputable company and product, you will be good with it.

I have a Storm. I purchased the "front only" from Best Buy for $20 (ouch). I carefully applied it Friday evening before bed so as to allow the recommended time to dry.

I cut pieces of newspaper to place in the gaps on two sides of the screen to absorb the water the squeegee would push out. I did not over do the application of the liquid, and had the device off during application.

The result is very good.

One note of caution. After applying the sheet, you will most likely turn the Storm back on to "make sure it is ok". While it is still "wet", the touch sensitivity is really bad... DO NOT PANIC. After it dries, there are no problems.

This was my experience at least.

Questions welcome.

I have it and I think its great! In fact, I dropped the stupid phone on concrete and I thought i was in trouble. The battery case popped off.
I picked it up and examined the phone..not a mark on it.
The only concern I had with the shield is that the corners of the storm are not protected. But if you wanted to cut some of the extra paterial to protect those corners it may be possible.
I didnt think about that till after I tossed the garbage.

The other thing is installation. I had experience with tinting so it went very easy for me. But i can tell you many will get frustrated if they dont follow the directions on installation carefully!

Yea, I too have worked with window tinting, this was a little helpful in the process. Only thing I did special was do it upside down. haha. Nothing in the cracks, I just wiped away liquid as it came out. Looks great.

Does the film Scratch over time? When we got the Storm it had a plastic screen saver on it which I thought was great within a couple of days of lightly wipping the smuges off it had all kinds of annoying surface scratches all over it

it's not a plastic screen piece, its more of a vinyl piece that is very flexible and has a "meaty" feel to it...
IMO i don't like it, my phone doesn't respond to my touch as smoothly as it used to, and now I either keep it on and have limited sensitivity or take it of and face scratching it...
the full body coverage is great but it smudges VERY easily (especially if you use lotion - now that winter's here) and those smudges are hard to remove...

installation was very easy and fast because I used a fan to set it for about 1-2 hours

it gives a nice grip and is hardly noticeable unless you get dirt or dust under the skin while installing in which case it looks terrible...

not a bad product, I'm just not satisfied with the screen protection...

I have it also it works great! Just make sure you don't get any of the spray into the edge of the screeen. Smudge marks wipe right off.

The product itself is very good. Installed it on my phone and it made the phone look horrible though.
