Default TeleNav question...

I have an 8310 with an unlimited data plan provided by my company. My company also ordered the TeleNav service with my phone, because I am a field service rep who does alot of travelling. When I got my phone, I got the simple "map to direction" TeleNav icon on my device, but it says premium TeleNav will cost me more. Does anyone know whether the $9.99 we are already paying extra a month should cover this "premium" service, or does that just include the maps with route planning that I already have?

I still am not clear. If I have an 8310 without data plan/internet can I download navigation maps onto 2 or 4 g card and then use free navigation software. Can I download maps, etc. onto PC (which has Internet of course) and than transfer it to 8310? Or do I simply need a data plan to use free GPS/navigation system?

Does the Google Maps feature still call out the turn by turn directions, including street names? The Telenav does a decent job of this, so you don't have to be looking at the phone while you drive.

No audio at all with Google Maps... just textual turn by turn directions.

You can download applications for that purpose. Check out the various applications listed in the Sticky note at the top of this GPS section "All known GPS Applications", there are others also not listed there yet.

Depends on the specific app you're using. It's just like asking "can you XXX on a PC"? Not all GPS apps have the same features.

Hmmm... how about ending the next piece of advice with.... "Someone please correct me because I have no idea what I'm talking about."
