I have installed and uninstalled 3 times BBlight, checked and activated the "activate on startup" and "on external power", and still not able to keep light on during external power - plugged into usb port of my computer, I have after installing bblight, shut down removed battery and replaced battery and then started software up only to still have the same problem.

Did you click xxx8220;savexxx8221; and also xxx8220;activatexxx8221; after appropriate changes to BBLight?

Why would such a new device even need BBLight, I would have thought they would have included the same software that is on the 7130, and the device would work as though it had BBlight preloaded....disappointing.

I used BBLight on my 7520 and was ready to use it on my 8703e, but after using it for a few hours, there was no need to. All a matter of personal preference I guess.

well i like to have it in a craddle (nice it doesnt even come with a craddle had to buy it seperately) so i can see my tasks and appointments and calls throughout the day. So i like the screen to stay lighted when it is plugged in

dosen't the light come on when removed from the case? BBlight was the fix for the older BB's that did not have that feature.
