Default LED light just stopped working...

Please Login to Remove!

A few hours ago my LED light on the storm just stopped working. I have bb alerts running and have been for quite some time. I do not get anything at all. Anyone else have this problem? I have the LED light on within the options menu but I cannot get anything.

Default Another idea

I have had this happen before and I have not had to reload the OS to resolve. I went to the option, shut it off, saved the settings and then went back in and turned it back on. When I turned it back on, the light resumed working.

Just a thought. It would be easier than what you went through today.

Might be even more simple than people think (based on my experience with 7BlackBerries):

If you are "pulling" or reading your email from MORE THAN ONE source (i.e. you have Outlook / Gmail / etc. running/pulling mail), both the red colored new message "star" and the LED light may not blink.

Two things can happen if you're doing this:

1. You may never see the messages on your BlackBerry (i.e. if you get the message before the BlackBerry service pulls it)
-OR-
2. You will receive the message, but no light blink.

I should have clarified....the green light stopped flashing. It still works but just stopped. I had email alert, and when I checked it the email alert stopped flashing, however the green light service light never came back on....
