Might be worth a shot to wipe the device with JL_CMDer then try loading it?

Steve - does your device show 8330 or 8330m on the About screen?

Good call, Julie.

The device I loaded it on showed 8330 not 8330m even though it has an MEID number.

5.0 is installing on it right now, but I am pretty sure it says 8330. When it comes back up I'll check for confirmation.

So the 5.0 installed just fine on my 11 month old 8330 (not "m").

Now, do I switch my service from my newer 8330m back to my 8330?

It installed great. Trying to find the ins and outs of the new system. I did go from like 47 available to 28 available....seems much slower. But some features are cool. Including the treaded sms.

Is there a way to go back and remove something I installed that I don't need now? I remember checking off some suretype thing. When I go to status>applications, I can't find it.....

I am noticing a decent memory leak, I am removing applications to figure the cause.

Has anyone looked at the Boost Mobile BlackBerry theme yet?

I think that would be the application loader on the desktop.

Or the setup wizard on your phone.

Thanks! I did find it on the application loader. It was some legal words, etc. things. Brought the memory up to 36 and change.

Downloading now for my MEID device. The .230 version worked fine - except for the memory leak.

Yes. Absolutely. Boost are just the guys who chose to release this version of the software.

Just be sure before installing to delete vendor.xml or it won't work.
