Default Enterprise Activation icon missing

Please Login to Remove!

I'm trying to get a brand new 8700C on BES, but the Enterprise Activation option is missing in Advanced Options and there is no icon. I did a security wipe and it's still not there. Any ideas?

Is your Icon hidden on the main screen? Hold down the ALT key while clicking the trackwheel and scroll to SHOW ALL. Then see if you see Enterprise Activation.

I had this problem on an activation I did the other day. The problem was the enterprise activation (in both locations) would vanish when I enabled wireless(radio).
The cause was actually the fact that the carrier had stuffed up the sim card and put BIS codes on instead of the BES. So try talking to your carrier to check you sim codes.
Hope that helps.

Exactly. If your handheld has only been provisioned for a BIS Plan instead of a BES plan, no EA icon or option. Only way to get it back is to talk to carrier and get then to add enterprise on the account.

Icon will also disappear when EA is complete but as NJBlackberry says you can still access it via Options->Advanced.

I had this problem. If I do a hard reset the Enterprise Activation appears but after a while vanishes. Settings>Options>Advanced Options doesn't give and Enterprise Activation option.

Everything was working fine until I carried out a wipe handset option. :(

You're right it wasn't. It was meant to be but my carrier set my account up for BIS instead of BES. It's been corrected now.

I am provisioned for BIS and the icon popped up again this morning! I do not know why?
