Someone recently pointed out that they almost never use the address book function anymore, since they can just start dialing from the phone application. However, I frequently want to look up information about a contact - like their address or email. I find that if I highlight a name on the phone log and hit menu, there is an option for "view contact" which pulls up their information. But if I start typing someone's name and highlight it and hit the menu - there is no "view contact" option. Is the only way to get their information to use the address book application, or am I missing something?
