i am considering buying ar Seidio rubberized hard case & holste.
According to their product description at

It has so called "sleeper function", does anyone know what does it mean?
Is it the same as OEM's leather swivel holster that is enable to enforce the standby mode when BB is into the case? Or something else?

Yes. Sleeper function is the same thing. Seidio is good stuff and will keep all the functions of your BB in tact. I use a swivel holster like that with my Pearl and it puts the BB to sleep very nicely.
