Is this going to be the same color red as the sprint pearl for January? Anybody see the real thing in person. I know each company has its on color of red and I hope its not Treo red !!

I actually like the treo red best. I would consider the other more maroon or Crimson

It is definitely the maroon color. I am a Sprint employee and they have pics of it on an internal website.

I wouldnt say the Sprint 8130 is black. More of a blueish color.

The Red 8120 housing is available cheaply on cnn.cn, are the 8120 and 8130 housings interchangable?

If they have kept this a secret this long with just color of the pearl why can't there be a jan 30 release on the curve?

thanks but I wanted to get a pearl today if I can find one. They have been backordered with sprint stores in my area for weeks. I keep holding out for a curve but getting sick of waiting. If I just knew it was coming this q1 then I would hold off my purchase.
