Default Ringtones

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so I just got the blackberry 7130c and I was wondering if there's anyway to put mp3 format ringtones that I made on my phone. They're saved to my computer and I didn't know if there was anyway to transfer them to the phone using the USB cord since I don't have the data package. If anyone could help me figure this out or has some other alternate way to put ringtones on the phone, that would be great!

Upgrade your Desktop Manager to 4.2 SP2. Get it here:

BlackBerry - BlackBerry - Sys Req V4-2 Pack 2

Then upgrade your OS to 4.2.1. There is a sticky thread at the top of the 7100 forum with information on how to do this. Then you should be able to transfer ringtones via the Media Manager.

OS = Operating System.
You upgrade it by following the instructions John Clark just gave you.

Default Clearing doubts!!

Hey mr. John Clark, thank you for all the info that you're providing, i was wondering if all this that you mentioned before apply for the BB 7130e for the upgrade to share MP3 within PC & BB?

I did everything about the download of the new version of the desktop manager with the media manager but the media manager says THE DEVICE IS NOT CONNECTED, PLEASE CONNECT DEVICE

thanxx
