Hi Everyone

Need help please on a new install of BES 5.0.3 taking advantage of the free SQL Express 2005 software that is included during the installation.

I wish to keep the database remote. The only option during install is to install SQL Express locally or connect to another SQL remotely.
What steps would I take to install BES on a dedicated machine, but the SQL Express database on another?

You must setup SQL on a separate server manually and the chose the "Remote" option for the database at the BES setup. Make sure to read this:
