People requested this from me on another site so I figured I would offer the same thing over here. I am a rep in the Verizon Wireless telesales department and will be opening on the 24th for the Storm launch. If anyone would like to place an order but doesn't want to wait on hold can PM me with your contact number, your wireless number (if an eligible upgrade), and name and I'll call you that morning and take your order for the Storm. I'm not asking for any private info that someone can use against you. I don't think someone scamming you would just ask for you wireless number. I will reply to PM with my extention and the standard number to telesales. You can call me thru the company if that makes you feel better.

I'm not worried about giving my phone number out. It's giving it to someone on the internet who claims to be a Verizon rep and will take your order on the day the Storm releases. And what info would you need to take our order? Personal information?

Basically, how do I know you are who you say you are? But now that you told me I can call you through the company, I'd feel a lot better about it.

Why don't you guys just wait till it comes out? If its coming out on the 24th, go to Verizon store, and buy it there. If you don't feel secure buying it from this guy who has only posted twice, and or believe the other person that's asking the questions (who also has only posted twice), then wait, and we all will get our phones when they arrive fresh on their boxes with warranty at the stores.

Online discounts have gone away on most devices and online purchases now have to use mail in rebates, the same as in store.

I would be willing to buy it from telesales but only if they get it early. If the stores get it the same time i will just go pick one up.

I am also sure you get a nice little bump in commission based on how many of these you sell which is great.
