Default 8700g - my love

Please Login to Remove!

I really don't know what it is but I have this unending love for my 8700g...I guess I was so impressed after coming from my 7230. Today I upgraded this device for the first time (v4.5.0.52) and I'm smiling like crazy...it is sooooo kool. I gotta say "Thumbs up RIM"...I know I'm late but I can't help expressing my emotions...

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8100 Pearl)

Trackball BLACKBERRY's are alright if you like cleaning and replacing the trackballs when they get gummed up. I've had three different sidewheel 7230,7105, and 8700 blackberries and never had any problem with the sidewheel or any other part of the devices. The first trackball device I bought, I had to clean the trackball twice and replace it once. And it started to reboot on its own for no reason, so I'm a little partial to the old school blackberries.

Default I have used my 8700g for over three years

It has been a solid device and has been easy to repair. I picked up a spare off of eBay to replace various components, but have never had any real issues.

After using a trackball BB for a little while I will likely switch to a Nokia if I ever stop using the 8700g; or if my carrier finally introduces 3G to my area.
