Default Tour 2 Release could be any day now....

Please Login to Remove!

I visited 2 Best Buy stores this weekend started on thursday and then on friday morning the tour went on sale for $49.00. I just got the storm 2 and wasn't happy with it so I decided to get the Tour when the sales rep told me they had plenty over the phone so when I went to store to pick one up I was told that were discontinued and they no longer had any. So I ask to check other store location he called 4 other store which all showed they had at least 1 in stock but when he spoke with each store they all said the same thing discontinued no longer available in stock. So I'm guessing we could see the Tour this week.

Latest rumors point to a mid- to late-May release, on both Sprint and Verizon. Seems like it was pushed back from an early April release.

Maybe a mod can move to Rumor Mill and merge with another thread

We've heard that song before. I won't get excited till I see it for real. I definately will upgrade, though since the upgrade to 5.0.0.484, my Tour has been great.

I'd believe June. A person who might be in a position to know these sorts of things told me that vzw wants to work out the OS 5.0 kinks on the 9630 so the 9650 won't be launching on a brand new os that hasn't seen significant testing in the hands of customers.

I agree with the poster above. Even May would not surprise me if VZW releases an official OS for 9630 on Monday

First I heard March/April.
Then May.
Now June.

Typical BOHICA nonsense, but we should all be used to it by now.

It'll be here eventually. Or not.

I am looking forward to it but may wait a couple of months after release anyway since I just got a new tour.

For the WiFi and the trackpad, I'd pay full price and wait in line for it. I cant wait to throw my Tour away. I was close to buying the new Curve just to stop dealing with the trackball
