Unhappy 9720 wont search for Wifi networks

Please Login to Remove!

Hello there, really hope you can help me. I have a BB9720 which runs OS7.

We recently got Wifi at home and I want my BB to run off the wifi when I am home but it will not pick up my home network - or anyone else's for that matter.

Steps I follow:
From Home page - Manage connections
Click on Wifi - green tick shows in block
Scroll down to "Wifi Networks"
Click on that get a blank pop up block. Only thing you can click on in the pop us the work ok.

I get the same result if I go into "Networks and Connections" and from there click on "Wifi Network".

Strange thing is that while I was at my local coffee shop, who's network I had previously connected to and had setting saved in the phone, soon as I turned Wifi on while there I was connected no problems.

I followed the steps about to see if I could search for the coffee shop network but still got the black pop box.

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be and how to fix it please.

Thanks so much

Default Re: 9720 wont search for Wifi networks

This is the setup info and I added the full link to the user guide

1.On the home screen, click the connections area at the top of the screen, or click the Manage Connections icon.2.
Click Wi-Fi Network > Other Ways to Connect > Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).xxx8226;
To use the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on your router or access point, click Press button on router. On your router or access point, press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button. On your BlackBerry smartphone, click Start.xxx8226;
To use a PIN, click Enter PIN into router. On your smartphone, click Start. Your smartphone provides you with a PIN. On the administration screen for your router or access point, type the PIN.
