Thumbs up Unable to complete request error message

Please Login to Remove!

ATT Curve 8300
When syncing with Desktop Manager this morning the program started okay but stopped before indentifying the user with the error message "Unable to Complete Request " in an error box. It gave no suggestions what to do about the problem. Help please! I must get synced right away.

Thanks... Bob

Lots of causes and more information is needed.

A good start:

1. Delete the Intellisync® folder found in C:\Documents and Settings\<user profile>\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry.
2. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer.
3. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
4. Open Synchronize and select the Configuration tab.
5. Click Configure synch.
6. Select the applications that you want to synchronize, and then click OK.
7. Click the Synchronize tab, and then click Synchronize now.

If not corrected, what database is causing the error? Sync each database individually to find which one is causing it. Once determined, purge that database on the phone by going into the Backup and Restore menu>Advanced>highlight the given database on the right>Clear.

Need more coffee...

Thank you. I purged the calendar program and that did it. One strange thing though. I could not find the Intellisync folder you spoke of nor the Research in Motion\Blackberry folders either. I search found a Blackberry folder in Program files but came up empty for the other two. Bob
