I have not been able to sync my calender and address book in over a month. Thankfully I have PC at work that I can back up my phone to.

Any ideas when pocket mac 5 will come out?

I have an 8800 that would not sync at all until I gave it a password and entered the password into PocketMac. Let me know if you have tried this.

Still doesn't sync with Now up-to-date but that is a separate issues.

I'm using Missing Sync with my 8830. Working well so far for Cal and Add. book. Worth the $40 so far.

I'll 2nd Missing Sync, iTunes & iPhoto sync well too. Worth my $40.

I downloaded the demo of missing sync and had the same issues.
I cleared out everything missing sync told me to do and still did not work.

1. Try different USB ports.
2. When it's connected look at the System Profiler (apple Menu>> about this mac>>more info) under the USB tab to see if your computer at least sees the BB.
3. Try it on a PC to check the cords etc.
