Hi all,

is there a way to controll which 3rd party apps my BB users can download?
i know about policies and SW configuration.
But my preferred way would be to allow only checked applications.
If a users want´s them he can download on his own.

The only way are software policies. This also eases the definition of software restrictions.

If you let the user download the app, he might get some dialog boxes, asking if he wants to trust this app and if he wants to give some rights to the app. As every user will give different answers to those questions, this is a support nightmare.

I'd rather define all those apps through software policy once.
