Question Yahoo email address suddenly invalid!

Please Login to Remove!

Today I got an email about validating a password for my Yahoo web-based Small Business email address. I actually deleted it because I figured it was spam. But it seems to be true that the Blackberry is not receiving the emails. I looked at the SetUP email wizard and and it indicated the address needed to be validated. I've tried and tried with no success. Any suggestions??

Thanks
Jennifer

I've had this happen with one email address. I just go to the BIS site and re-enter the password and all is well then.

I'd suggest you go to your carrier's BIS site and click to edit that email account, and re-enter the password. You don't have to change the password, just re-enter it and save changes.

Same thing happened to an Earthlink account I had. No idea why, but going to my BIS setup site and entering the password again fixed it.

On Tmobile, instead of a check next to the account was a mail icon with the red circle with a red bar through it.

Question

OK, well. I deleted the email address completely and tried to redo it (on the Blackberry) and that didn't work. I feel blonde but what is BIS? My carrier is AT&T.

Oh, and Yahoo Customer Service said that the emails are showing on the Internet. I just don't have internet set up right now, just moved into new apartment this weekend.

BIS is where you logged in to set up the Yahoo! account on your phone in the first place.

Oh wait, I just noticed that AT&T is not on that FAQ page... hm.

Try this: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=mycingular

This is so frustrating! I'm typing in the PIN & IMEI exactly and it keeps saying it's invalid!

Are you doing this from a computer or from your BlackBerry?

From a computer, I clicked on the link provided in the previous message and typed in the IMEI and PIN. Should I/can I do it on the Blackberry?

Thanks

No, you should do it from the computer. Make sure your caps lock isn't on.

I don't know how AT&T works, but have you tried to get to email setup via the AT&T account? The account was already set up which is why entering the IMEI and PIN may not be working.
