I just heard when calling t.support that there is some widespread problem with activation?
I can't seem to activate a user who's blackberry was having issues all last night and today. I don't want to call back and hear the KB number because I've been sitting on hold for 20 minutes.
Edit : oh, nevermind, it was just a new option choice. I seem to be having other issues.
I find that 90%+ of all failed/problematic enterprise activations can be solved with three steps:
1. Hard reset the handheld (read: pull battery)
2. Set a *NEW* activation password (new meaning don't try re-entering the one you just assigned/generated - I'd recommend manually setting the PW rather than generating+emailing.)
3. Patience... Especially around 90% when it's dumping the users 2500 contacts into the device OTA! I recommend placing the device screen down and walking away for 15 minutes.
With the amount of times I've seen that screen I feel like I should visit ... either there or back to Vegas ... Foxwoods and Mohegan just aren't the same.
