ooOOo I like that idea, but I would think the roms would eat up a LOT of storage on most devices. I'd definatly be interested in testing it, if and when one got written or ported to the BB. My only concern is the rom eating memory.
Why? Although with OS 4.0 ther eis very little free space for applications, there is some. Most NES roms are on the order of 256KB, 512KB at the most..
New Blackberry 7290's come with 32 megs of RAM, plenty of free space will be available for applications, even large roms..
And besides, there are so many NES games under 100k (even under 50k) that it's definately feasable.

Wow, ok, my bad hehe thought roms would be much higher for space *hides in a dark corner*. Great breakthrough guys, do post results, im interested if noone else is ;) mmmm bomberman
If you wait long enough it will launch, setting the speed to around 20 will let you sorta play. You will need to remap the keys for the bberry. Hopefully someone will find a clever way to speed it up.

Oh, and this was running on a 7520.
I tried this on a 7100t I think, and even after remapping, I couldn't give it any input.
