why does my PIN request doesn't go through on blackberry messenger? My friend never gets it and when he sends it to me, I don't get it either. It still says pending. Thanks for the help

Well, there ya go.
You need a BlackBerry Data Plan, not an iPhone Data Plan.
PIN and BlackBerry Messenger only work with a BlackBerry Data Plan.

This won't help.
The user does not have a BlackBerry Data Plan.

He can try. He claims everthing else is working. I once had a Sprint 7250 that had all functions of the BB plan but I didn't pay for it. I would have added the data plan, but it worked without it for a year until I switched to another device.

Of course they can try, but you're just asking that person to waste their time.

PIN messaging and the use of BB messenger is not possible without a BlackBerry Data Plan.
This user has already stated they do not have a BlackBerry Data Plan.

I did it before so it is possible. Not likely, but possible. It was a flaw in Sprints system that allowed a few to have access to ALL features. Good luck to the OP though.

No, you didn't. It's simply not possible.
If you were able to use PIN messaging or BB Messenger, then you had a BlackBerry Data Plan.
There was probably a billing error, or an accounting issue which allowed you to get it for "free" for a period of time, but I assure you it was on your account.

PIN require access to the BB APN. Access to the BB APN is only granted with a BB data plan.
