Sorry if this seems noobish...

I had a Bold for a few months and loved it, but used my upgrade and got the iPhone 3GS since it looked so damn cool. While it is, the multitasking is horrible, the email is just ok, I miss BBM like there's no tomorrow and I prefer the real keyboard on the Bold. So, I've decided to trade or sell my 32gb iPhone 3GS and come back to the land of BlackBerry where I belong.

Should I trade for the Bold + cash now or wait for the Onyx? Another line on my family plan is eligible for an upgrade next summer, when I think we'll know a lot more about the next-gen devices from RIM. I'm thinking pick up a Bold now if I can get a good deal and then upgrade to whatever the full successor is to the Bold next summer/fall.

What do you all think? Get the Bold now or deal with the iPhone for a few more months and wait for the Onyx?

I would get the bold. You know you like. From what I remember the onix is any better but the price will be good on a new device. To get money back and get a bold go get it.

Nice! I posted on craigslist for it and someone offered me a Bold and $300 for my 32gb iPhone 3GS. Think I'm going to have to take that deal...

i also did the same thing had an iphone but miss the multitasking.. i didnt understand why folks had to jailbreak for apps or options that any basic phone feature has... so now i am with the bold and luv it.. i honestly didnt think i would go back to BB but i guess i will have to hold off. till HTC drops more phones like HERO

I'm going to meet the guy today who wants to trade me the Bold + $300 for my iPhone 3GS at a local AT&T store. Is there anything I should be aware of to check out on the Bold? I want to make sure it works properly and that it's clear to activate on my account with BIS, but I'm not sure what I need to do/ask to make sure that happens. Any suggestions?
