Default Whats on your 8800?

Please Login to Remove!

So I just bought my first BB....and I love it.
I installed a few things

BBWeather
QuickCompose - Although I can't get it to work with a hotkey
QuickNote - same as above
BBLight - But I'm not sure it is working right.
I'm wondering what everyone's MUST have Applications are for their 8800?

I saw a thread somewhere about everyones favorite apps, but it appears some don't work on the 8800...

So just curious, as to what everyone is using, and what it does.

Wirelessly posted (8800: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

steach, for QuickCompose and QuickNote to work, do you have "Dial From Homescreen" disabled, at Phone Dialer screen, Options, General Settings.

Most all Third Party Applications will across all BlackBerrys, very few are limited.

Also, I "must have" Beyond411, Viigo, any mapping application like TeleNav, Google Maps, BeamBerry, BBSmart Email Viewer.

I believe I do. I click the phone, options-General options and set Dial from Home Screen to NO.

Do I need to change it on another screen?
As now when I hold Q or C I get a request to assign a speed dial to that key.

Sorry, didn't know about the apps working across different bb models.

Then you need to pull the battery and let the BlackBerry reboot, see if it works.

Default I stand corrected....

Looks like it does work, but the theme I had it on the Zen Theme, and was hoping it would work from the main screen, once I go to the application screen it works fine.

Installing beyond411 and googlemaps now.

I got:

JiveTalk: Instant Messenger.
WeatherBug Direct: Can't beat this app for weather since its free. (Just my opinion)
Viigo: Keeps my up todate with alot of RSS feeds
Texas Hold'Em Kings 3: I'm a big poker fan
CrackBerry/BBF forum shortcuts.
Opera Mini: Been using this less and less lately.
Ascendo Data Vault: Great Password app with a desktop counterpart.
Pacman: Good old fashioned fun.
XPlayer: Just for play list until I get 4.5 on my 8830... a bit buggy but works ok.

Whatever my BB can do for me to make my life easier it will .
