I have searched all corners of this forums with no luck as my problems is a little different.

When using the speed dial key "1" for my voice mail I get the error invalid phone number. So I have tried rebooting the device, replacing the number in the voice mail settings and changing the speed dial location. No luck.

The odd thing is that when I manually dial the voice mail number, it seems like it tries to dial out, then the call goes silent and dies. I then get returned to the call log screen.

I am using the latest .88 update on a rogers phone.

This happened to me as well this past weekend. Here is what I did:

-I went to the speed dial list and added the number for voicemail to position 1.
-I then dialed it using speed dial 1
-Went back and deleted it from position 1 (the one I added)
-Hard reset

Upon rebooting, it had been restored. Don't ask me why, I just happened to try these steps and it worked. Hope it works for you as well.

No luck, the invalid phone number error code is elimanated, but still when I dial the voice mail number it never connects it just stops.

Same Problem. I followed the steps in the second post and it automatically replaced the voicemail number on the hard reboot.
